Time for change

It’s been a long time coming, but I finally cut ties with the past and deleted Tumblr

I spent seven years growing this blog to 18,000+ followers. It’s the community that has been there for me through thick and thin and is truthfully the reason why I am still standing here today. It’s the place where all my old work prior to the flood lived, the only place a majority of my photographic work existed since it was dramatically drowned. There was this part of me that couldn’t bear to see it destroyed- what if something happened and I needed said community again?! But when old methods no longer serve, clearing out the past can bring about change. Maybe it’s time for new beginnings and new modes of expression. Maybe it’s time to see the foundation I built beneath me and to know that I will be ok moving forward.

I never know what comes next but I know it’s coming. It’s just not for me… yet.
